Photo Facial

Photo Facial is the common miss-spell of the trademark name "FotoFacial".

It is also commonly used by inferior technology lasers who are attempting to copy the patented trademark "FotoFacial" by Syneron.  Beware of this miss-spelling and the use of the word to trick you away from the authentic technology of the patented FOTOFACIAL.

We use only the authenic FotoFacial laser from Syneron.  Don't be fooled by lesser knock off brand lasers attempting to fool you by changing the spelling of their lasers.

The FotoFacial procedure has been seen on "Oprah," "The Swan," "Extreme Makeover," and "The View".  Numerous national publications including Allure, Cosmopolitan, In Style, Vogue, and USA Today have featured the FotoFacial. Many Hollywood stars and TV personalities rave about the FotoFacial™ and credit this procedure for the renewed health and vitality in their skin.

FotoFacial  treats: sun spots, age spots, broken capillaries, spider veins, rosacea, redness, flushing, hyper-pigmentation, melasma, cholasma, mask of pregnancy, and multiple freckles. Wrinkles, skin laxity, and pore size is greatly improved

The visible signs of aging cannot be fully avoided, but they can be dramatically minimized. However, the key is to do it as gently as possible. Fotofacial is a treatment for skin that improves the appearance of photoaged skin, removes age spots (sun-induced freckles), rosacea, most brown or uneven pigmentation, and redness caused by broken capillaries, through a process called 'photorejuvenation.'
The gentle treatments use intense, pulsed light (IPL) to treat the face, chest, neck and hands -- virtually anywhere that sun damage, or other aging of the skin, shows. The treatments not only removes unsightly age spots (sun-induced freckles) and broken capillaries, but they also stimulate the production of collagen, resulting in younger looking skin overall. Improvement is subtle, so the patient's skin does not appear as if it has been obviously treated. This process is ideal for patients with active lifestyles, because the procedure requires no downtime.

FotoFacial ™ Results
Following FotoFacial therapy, you will notive a fading of dark pigmentation and age spots,  a reduction in pore size, and you will see a gradual decrease in overall redness, flushing and dilated capillaries. Fine lines and wrinkles are also improved, acne prone patients see an improvement in breakouts, and may be able to decrease, and in some cases, discontinue their medication.

Following your first treatment, your skin will feel smoother and softer, with a more even skin tone. Improvements are gradual and become more visible after each treatment. Five treatments are recommended for optimal results.

FotoFacial ™ Treatments
The FotoFacial takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes for each treatment. A topical anesthetic cream may be applied 10 to 15 minutes before treatment. The session itself has minimal discomfort. Immediately following the pulsed light therapy, the skin may appear red and flushed, with visible tiny capillaries improved and any brown spots appear darker. These changes in the skin gradually fade over several hours to several days, leaving the skin smooth, healthy, and younger-looking.

FotoFacial ™ Candidates
FotoFacial treatments work best on patients with premature sun- damage, large pores, acne prone skin, and those who suffer from rosacea and experience flushing and redness of their skin. The FotoFacial is an ideal treatment for active patients who don't want to take time off for healing from more in-depth therapies.

FotoFacial ™ Advantages
Chemical Peels, Laser Resurfacing and Microdermabrasion are not effective in removing age spots, shriking pores, reducing redness, flushing or treating dilated capillaries. The FotoFacial is the only treatment  with minimal discomfort, and no downtime or disruptions from normal activities.
